Kissinger Gofer Paul Bremer Runs US Occupied Iraq

Replacing Lt. Gen. Jay Garner as the director of the Office of Reconstruction and Humanitarian Assistance (a/k/a US Occupied Iraq) is Lewis Paul Bremer III, former Kissinger gofer and Republican scammer extraordinaire.

Bremer arrives in Iraq with plenty of Bush Cabal experience. He's a former director of Kissinger Associates and the former chairman of the National Commission on Terrorism. In his former role, Bremer advocated dropping guidelines that would restrict recruiting CIA "assets" who had records of human rights abuses. In plain English, that means that Bremer advocated hiring "any" terrorists as long as they were "our" terrorists.

Bremer's new appointment as Overseer of US Occupied Iraq is an obvious reward in his career track of "failing upward" -- although questioned by some who say that he has not been involved in a major reconstruction project before, nor has he had the experience to lead the "reconstruction" in a country like Iraq.

However, these critics don't seem to understand that Bremer's primary role for the Bush Cabal will be to coordinate the corporate trough in Iraq to make sure that Republican controlled corporations like Halliburton receive all the proper government assistance.

Also Bremer was the head of the White House infamous 911 Investigation Committee, formerly chaired by Henry Kissinger who resigned because he didn't want to disclose his financial ties to Middle Eastern clients.

In the past, Bremer worked as a senior aide to two secretaries of state and as an ambassador to the Netherlands before retiring as President Reagan's ambassador at large for counterterrorism in 1989.

After retiring from the State Department in 1989, Bremer became managing director at Kissinger Associates, the global "consulting" firm run by former Secretary of State and Unindicted War Criminal Henry A. Kissinger.

At the State Department, Bremer served as Kissinger's executive assistant in the 1970's. In plain English, Bremer is Kissinger's Gofer.

One month after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Bremer was named
chairman and chief executive of Marsh Crisis Consulting company, which
"advises companies on natural disasters, lawsuits and terrorism."

In other words, if you pay the right price to the right Republican controlled offshore slush fund, your company won't have to worry about "lawsuits" or "terrorism."

Now as the Bush Cabal's Man in Iraq, Bremer will continue the US Republican Guard's pillaging of Iraq and its resources.

The former ruler of US Occupied Iraq was Bush Cabalist Jay Garner, president of SY Coleman, a defense firm which specializes in Patriot missiles and which was incidentally awarded over a billion-dollar contract this year to provide logistics support to US Special Forces.

SY Coleman is a subsidiary of L-3 Communications, the ninth-largest contributor to US political parties from the defence electronics sector.

Garner was the Pentagon's place man, directly answerable to General Tommy Franks, head of US CentCom. This has been harped on by many as proof that the reconstruction work in Iraq is at best a Pentagon operation and at worst a military occupation.

With Bremer running US Occupied Iraq, this charge, of course, can be readily dismissed by the Bush Cabal.
